In this 3-week art class, you will learn basic techniques in painting, drawing, and polymer clay molding. Local artist Lyrae Perry will be the instructor, and the class will help create an educational art piece as part of the library’s Sustainable Gardens project. The piece will be made up of 3 dimensional Texas pollinators and will be permanently displayed in the library.

S.T.E.A.M. is an acronym that combines S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with the Arts. This class in conjunction with our October S.T.E.M book club which will feature birds bees, and butterflies. You are not required to participate in the book club to take the classes.
