COVID-19 Update

****COVID-19 Update March 2021****

The Johnson City Library will continue to follow CDC guidelines as well as the advice of public health officials. For the safety of our staff and community, all policies put in place for COVID-19 spread prevention will still be in place at the library. Facemasks and social distancing are required when inside the library. If you are feeling ill, be cautious and stay home.

Library Programs with 10 or fewer attendees may resume on a case by case basis. Contact the library for more information. Our meeting rooms are available for reservation on a case by case basis.

The computer Lab will be open but limited to four people at a time to enable social distancing.  Children's computers are limited to three in use at a time.

Hand sanitizer is available for all patrons and staff.  We request that everyone who enters sanitize or wash their hands.

Face coverings are required in the library.  Please be respectful of others and maintain social distance.

Staff will clean on a 2–4 hour schedule, wear masks  when working with patrons, and maintain social distance.  All returned items will be held for 2 days before they are reshelved.

All precautions will stay in effect until further notice. We will continue to evaluate the situation.
